while we have a "last night I..." thread...we don't really have a thread that covers the entire day's intinerary and sometimes in teresting suff happens before the evening...so here goes;


yesterday I taught a toning class and then a zumba class
came home and had a bite to eat while df-ing
did some housework--mostly kitchen vacuuming and washing a sliding door
took a 45 minute nap
did some yard work
df-ed bit more and channel surfed
emptied our fridge and transferred all items to garage fridge as we are getting an new indoor fridge
crashed
 
up at 5
motel breakfast unsatisfactory and ignored; mcdonalds breakfast highly unsatisfactory and tossed in trash
in parking lot of show by 7:30
to farmers market across the street from show for 3rd unsatisfactory attempt at getting a simple, non-toxic, and non-greasy breakfast
open up table at show at 8
make nice to tedious "customers" until 1:30, with brief break to show dance and parachute-jump videos to one of the other dealers' wives
load van and leave show
drive 2 hrs home
unload merchandise from van
re-load van with hundreds of pounds of different merchandise for 10-day trip to Denver
make dinner for Spouse
prune wisteria and clean up cuttings
remove cat from computer keyboard:kitty: and work on updating website
go to mall to return/replace defective thermos
return home and do 2 loads of laundry
oh, yeah, dinner? supermarket sushi picked up on way home from mall
pack for 10-day trip
update website more
df some and shop online waaaaaaaaay too much

and so to bed (ty Sam Pepys)
 
going to list today's today b/c tomorrow will be wildly busy

practiced rhythm and latin
vacuumed some more
egg samich
mother's day gifts
df-ed
glass of wine
more practice, smooth and standard
gardening; flowering perrenials and veggies from seed
threw down some grass seed in the back yard
early dinner at longhorn steakhouse, b/c it was close
back home for nap

Ate breakfast
Started lamb stock cooking
Laundry
Grocery store
Put lamb stock in fridge (saved out lamb meat)
Shower and shave
Made lamb curry and rice in lamb stock, threw in freezer
Dinner with parents/aunt/one sister/grandparents for mothers' day
Cake and cookies after dinner
home
DF (of course that was all day)

Yesterday, I:

Finished loading the van for 10-day trip
Realized why my elbow hurts and resolved not to haul around 30-lb+ boxes any more
Went to bank in Hasidic Jewish neighborhood (open Sunday rather than Saturday, feels weird but makes sense) to cash $$$$ check for road trip
Drove to central PA
Stopped at antique mall; bought nothing
Drove to Western PA
Into motel, where only room available was smoker koff koff drip whine
Got takeout
Finished website update, posted it, and sent "website update reminder" email
Answered inquiries from customers via email and passed phone calls to Spouse
df-ed
and so to bed
 
bump as per member's request ;)


and though I am rapidly breaking my own rules by posting about today rather than yesterday, I have never been a stickler for rules so;


today

woke at 6:30, dfed and planned workouts ... taught three fitness classes from 8-11
egg sammich and time with family before they left for Rome
trip to lowe's to argue with the sales rep for goofing up my fridge delivery
manicure
tanning/nap while tanning
snack/df
4-7pm three more hours at the gym
730 dinner of broiled chicken and lettuce
now; wine and df...sleep immanent
 
Got up
Went to parents house
went with parents to sister's church (met other sister's old roommate for first time in real life, not internet)
Took mom out to lunch at her favorite bakery for mom's day
Took her to sister's house, gave her gift, made her cry
Stopped by parents house to see dos again
Went home
Did laundry
Canned lamb stock
Made wine jelly
packed lunch
sleep
 
Might as well post today's activities 'cause they weren't much:

Drove across 60 miles of western PA
Drove across Ohio
Drove across Indiana
Drove across Illinois
Drove across first 20 miles of Iowa. (Insert pee stops as needed.)

Please note utter and complete lack of dancing or even practice. Grrr.
 
Woke up around 9
Made coffee
Fed cat and Husband
Picked up coach at hotel
Took other cat to the emergency room (don't ask)... coach in tow
Left cat in emergency room for treatment
Took coach to studio to teach other students
Tried to practice with a good frame of mind
Consulted with vet
Took a few coaching lessons (as if I absorbed any of it:() Pointless really, mind on other more important things.
Took coach to airport
Consulted with vet about leaving cat overnight.
Picked up cat from emergency room
Home at last...
Hot Shower...
Glass of wine....
 
Breakfast
Shower
Drive to train station
Train
Office
Studio at lunch to practice
Office
Train
Drive home
Dig through garage for audio cables
laundry
dinner
glass of wine
