and I got a responce from someone. He dances at the same studio franchise that I dance at. I havent met him yet. Kinda nervouse. I am not sure how I should go about this. I am going to try to call him pretty soon. We both have the same initative of just being able to practice with someone and he also made it clear that he isnt looking into dating like me. I just hope thats true.

Sounds great, Kit! I can't remember the specifics, but I do recall at least one, maybe two threads here that had some really great thoughts about how to approach the partnership, what to discuss at the beginning, etc. It was a lot of posts of people sharing from their various partnership experiences and it looked like a lot of great advice. I hope you can find them if you have an interest and good luck! (I haven't had a partnership, so I can't offer thoughts here.)

ohhhhh, I so wish you all the best in this and hope it works out. Definately look up the advice from others on partnerships already posted in the threads. It certainly was a God-sent for me in the last few try outs.
 
Thanks I have been searching for the threads on the search tab but no luck. if anyone can post up the links it would be much appreciative or I'll just look it up when I get to work tonight.

I'm meeting my future DP (dp...lol now I know what that means)) tomorrow. So yeah need some good advice on how to go about the little meeting.
