Has there been any word on whether PBS's America's Ballroom Challenge will be back this year, inquiring owl's want to know.

They did not film this year. Didn't get the required funding for it.

If you are still up and don't have cloud cover, go take a look. Largest moon to see in 2010. It makes you feel like dancing.

etp is correct, it was not filmed this year (that is, the 2009 OSB was not filmed to be shown in early 2010).

That is a major disappointment for television and dance this year. I wonder if sponsorship was not there because of decrease in interest or if it was an early indication of finanical problems at corporate level before the collapse of our finanical sector last fall?

I certainly hope America's Ballroom Challenge gets sponsorship and is back next year.
