For me, (in the US), the flight to BsAs is expensive. However, once you get there, everything is inexpensive, due to the very favorable exchange rate.
Now some vendors there will try to jack up the prices for us, but all in all, it's worth it for me.
If role-balance is a topic and there is a shortage of leaders, then dancing both roles is a possibility. Hopefully even a possibility to get lesser skewed questions like the title of this thread.

Ok, I googled.
They say that a private lesson with an instructor at DNI Tango costs $50.
Prices in BsAs are 50 - 90 $ depending on the teacher.
I was told by a dedicated dancer.
