Great action shot! Very dramatic. I know this has been your avatar for a while, but it's always hard to make out much detail in those little thumbnail avatars. Nice to see the full-size version.

The lighting is interesting. Was there a spotlight?

i think there must've been a spotlight overhead... i remember seeing the studio owner climbing up a tall ladder to fiddle with it.

i love how the camera can capture these little moments of intensity...
